Hi, I'm Danielle
I am a wedding photographer located in Leesburg, VA. I am an extroverted introvert. I know that sounds strange, but growing up with a very outgoing mom and a very introverted dad helped influenced me. I am an introvert at heart, but I also love having people together to build real relationships.
I am also a wife, mom of 3, and a rescued mutt owner. I love music (especially singing), cooking, baking, drinking lemonade, eating things with chocolate, and being a stay at home mom while taking photos of couples and families.
Music is my other biggest passion. Music has always been one of my biggest passions because music expresses things that we cannot simply express in words. Photographs do the same thing. They express moments, emotions, and memories that we cannot simply express in words. My favorite bands/artists are Needtobreathe, Coldplay, Nat King Cole (I'm a sucker for the oldies), and just about anything that has a singer/songwriter vibe.
My husband and I were high school sweethearts and we have been married since 2012. We have three children, Maggie, Isaac, and Olivia, and a very handsome dog named Beau. They're pretty much the best.

Do you ever feel awkward in front of the camera? "Where should I put my hands? Am I standing weird? How does my back look in this dress?" Here's a little secret that nobody tells you...everybody feels awkward in front of the camera. Yes, I said it. And I am going to do everything I can to get to know you and make you feel comfortable.
The experience is not a stand in front of the camera while I take pictures and you are wondering the entire time if you're doing the right thing kind of deal. I will give you a lot of direction and natural movements that will help you look like you!
It is really important to me to take photos that look like YOU! If you are a super smiley couple then I am going to get lots of smiley pictures of you. If you're more reserved and like more serious faces and style then that's what I am going to capture. I don't want you to look like someone you're not or to look back at your photos and wonder why you did that. I want you to look back at your photos and fall in love all over again.
