Justin & Jessica Allrose Farm Greenfield, NH

THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF 2018! In case you've missed this from my other posts, I am also a worship leader at a church in Durham, NH. That's how I met Justin, who was attending the church and worship leading as well. I remember when he told me he was going to propose and how we "may be chatting soon" about wedding photos. I WAS PUMPED! Jessica is one of the most beautiful brides I have had the privilege to photograph. I knew she would be, so when they asked me to be their photographer I WAS SO EXCITED!

There were sooooo many moments during this day that brought all the feels, but here are a few of my favorite moments.

1. The first look. Not every couple does a first look, but it's an opportunity for you and your future spouse to have a few quiet moments together before the craziness of the day sets in. I told Justin to stand facing away from the door and Jessica would come in and tap on his shoulder and take a few steps back, but I specifically told them to just enjoy the moment and do what was natural when you saw your spouse on your wedding day.

She tapped on his shoulder, he turned around, and tears welled up in his eyes as he said to me, "Can I kiss her?" with the sweetest voice of tearful joy. "OF COURSE YOU CAN KISS HER?" And that embrace was something truly magical.

2. The worship time during their ceremony. They asked their friends to play "Pieces" by Bethel. As they worshipped their Savior together and embraced each other these words were being sung over them,

Your love's not selfish Your love is pure You don't give Your heart in pieces You don't hide Yourself to tease us

Their love radiated the love of God and it was such an emotional and encouraging moment as they became husband and wife in the eyes of their family and friends and in the eyes of God.

3. The maid of honor speech. Wow. There was so much laughter in that room. I LOVED all of the expressions from the bride and groom. You'll see a few of those photos later.

4. All the dancing. I knew several people at this wedding because we all go to church together, but there's a HUGE difference from seeing someone on a Sunday morning at church to a Saturday night partying it up at a wedding ceremony. Don't worry, nothing crazy happened. But I had NO IDEA how many of these people could really dance and have such a great time.

Congratulations Justin + Jessica! May the Lord greatly bless you!
