Last year I was the photographer at this wedding. This couple loved this photo so much that when they decided they wanted to do a SURPRISE WEDDING with their family they asked me to be a part of it.

After this past weekend I have FALLEN IN LOVE with surprise weddings! Usually on this blog I would talk about a couple of my favorite things from a wedding, but I honestly loved everything about this day so much!

As a photographer I like to tell the story of the couple, but there were so many moments that happened that I don't feel like it's my story to tell. The way this bride and her mother interacted as she was trying to get over the shock and excitement that this was her daughters wedding day is something I can't really convey through a blog post. OR the energy that this bride and groom had after they FINALLY pulled off the surprise wedding that they've been keeping a secret for so long!

All this to say, it was a pretty spectacular day filled with so much laughter, joy, and emotion. I cried at least 3 times and laughed probably more than a hundred times.
