Jacob & Tara Leesburg, VA

I'm not sure if it's because I recently watched The Wizard of Oz with my daughter or because of how this place made me feel, but I am doing several photos in black and white for this blog post. When I turned the corner at Murray Hill and saw the Manor House with the Potomac River behind it I was pretty speechless. It was a beauty that you don't get to see everyday. Then when I walked inside it was just such an amazing thing to experience. Before living in Northern Virginia I didn't have many places like Murray Hill and it's pretty incredible to be to take in something like this Manor and the grounds.

Jacob & Tara have a love that feels like it was lifetimes in the making. Sometimes you fall in love with someone almost immediately and Jacob & Tara have one of those kind of love stories. They brought together two families, two religions, and so many family and friends at this beautiful celebration of their love. They are two creative, compassionate, loving people and it is obvious from the moment you meet them that they are going to build a pretty incredible world together.

This wedding was anything but ordinary in all of the best ways. From the beautiful songs in their ceremony to the incredible band that got everyone on the dance floor, it was quite a sight to behold. There were so many big and small moments that brought everything together into something beautiful, harmonious, and filled with happiness and joy. I hope you can experience even just a little bit of those feelings through these pictures.
