Tyler & Julie Alexandria, VA

After meeting through a dating app these two could not stop thinking of each other. International lines could not stop these two and neither did a worldwide pandemic. They took a huge chance on each other and planned a hiking trip together even thought they had only met online and it was one of their greatest adventures and memories together to date.

Tyler & Julie tied the knot, officially, last year but still wanted to do a real ceremony and wedding with their closest family and friends. They chose The Athaneum in Old Town Alexandria, VA and it was a beautiful spot. They somehow combined Old Hollywood glamor with a modern, artsy vibe and it worked beautifully. Their ceremony spot transported me to another time and place with the old brick and ivy draped behind them. The sun was hitting perfectly behind them which gave everything a magical look.

And one of my favorite parts of the evening was after a drink or two and a friend did impromptu karaoke of "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" and "I Want It That Way" with the bride and groom. It didn't disappoint. I know you'll enjoy the photos too.
